Can I edit the existing text in a PDF?
Yes. Choose Edit text and click any line in the PDF. The old text is covered and you type the new text in the same place and size.
Can I edit a scanned PDF?
You can add text, highlights, images and signatures on top of a scanned page. To change the scanned words themselves, run the OCR PDF tool first or use Whiteout and type over them.
Will the edited PDF keep its quality?
Yes. Edits are drawn onto the original pages, so text stays selectable and images stay at full resolution.

Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Your files are processed inside your own browser on your device. They are never uploaded, so nobody else can see them.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no fixed limit. Because processing happens on your device, very large files depend on your phone or computer memory. Most files up to a few hundred MB work fine.
Does it work with password-protected PDFs?
Yes. If a PDF needs a password to open, the tool asks for it and then works normally. The password never leaves your browser.
Does it work on mobile?
